Damaged goods definitions
- Damaged Goods (Products ELX & IGF): A damaged product is one where the product has been breached through parcel compression and therefore the seal or body has been breached at any point in the unit or through an in transit puncture where the seal or body has been breached at any point in the unit.
- Damaged Merch: A damage piece of merch (cap, tshirt) is where in transit the package has been breached and the merch is damaged via marking or snag or friction or water.
- Damaged Shaker: A damaged shaker is where in transit the shaker has been chipped or split making it unusable.
We determine whether damage to goods, merch or shakers is superficial or unsafe.
Please be aware we also look for parcel tampering, where a parcel has been interfered with rather than sustained natural transit damage.
